We have been working on Prismatic Runes for about 2 & 1/2 years, with a few conventions under our belt! Shout out Cheyenne Gaming Convention in Wyoming for having us twice now. We are also now nearing the 100 playtest threshold & considering we spent the first year focusing on development & figuring out the identity of the game, I am very proud of where we are at!

All of our progress aside, Prismatic Runes is a dice altering game centered around your role as a wielder. As a wielder you directly influence the world around you by etching runes on the 7 prismatic dice. Unfortunately for you there are other wielders & the twist to our system is the shared dice pool. Each wielder is looking to use these dice to the fullest extent possible while also leaving their influence whenever possible.

Prototype playtest (2025)

Turns out we were bad at math & the original game mat came in at barely
9in. by 9in.

Our New Map (2026)

Much more table presence with an 18in. by 18in. circled map. We now have the full neoprene version (ignore our friend plotting to win next turn).

Finalized Tokens (2026)

We now have a way to track everything that’s going on for all of the chaos happening on the board!

Finalized Map with Territory Tiles (2026)

Enjoyed an afternoon playing Prismatic Runes in July, the neoprene never looked so good. Huge thank you to BreakFromRealityGames for making this amazing art come to life!
